AI and Data Use
How the Brelos platform uses AI and your data, in plain words. Our Platform Privacy Policy and Platform Customer Terms are the binding documents; this page explains them.

The short version
- Your leases, bank files and records are yours.
- We never use your data to train AI models, and the AI companies we use do not train on it either.
- The AI drafts. You decide. Brelos never pays anyone.
- Code, not AI, does the math on rent and money.
- You can delete files and conversations, and ask us to export or delete everything.
What the AI does
Brelos reads the documents you give it, such as leases and bank files, and keeps an up-to-date record of each building. AI helps in three ways:
- Reading. It reads a lease and fills in the dates, rent and terms for your records.
- Answering. In Chat, it answers questions from your records and shows its sources.
- Drafting. It prepares reminders, findings and summaries for you to review.
What the AI does not do
- It does not do the math. Rent schedules, totals and dates are calculated by our code from your records.
- It does not pay or sign. Brelos never moves money. Today the Platform emails only people in your account.
- It does not take orders from documents. The Platform is built to treat words inside a lease or other document as information, not instructions.
- It is not your lawyer, accountant or broker. Treat what it writes as a draft.
Which AI companies see your data

Each request sends the information needed for that task, such as the lease being read or the records that answer your question. Before we add another AI or document-reading company, it will appear on our subprocessor list.
Where your data lives
Your records live in a database in the United States. Every request is checked against the signed-in person's access to that building, and nightly backups are encrypted with a key only Brelos holds. Our Platform Privacy Policy has the details.
Your controls
- Delete a file. The file is removed. Records built from it stay, so your history still makes sense, and are marked for your review.
- Delete a conversation. It is removed. Conversations you do not use for 12 months are removed automatically.
- Forget. Anything you asked Brelos to remember can be forgotten.
- Pause a worker. The building owner can pause any worker.
- Export or delete everything. Email privacy@brelos.ai.
